The game everybody is playing
Every memecoin pitch is the same sentence wearing a different hat: sell that, buy this.
Rotate out of their bag, rotate into ours. Every launch turns into a small war over the same wallet, and the same money keeps going in circles while everyone screams at each other in the replies.
You know how it ends. Two communities who should be friends spend a week dunking on each other. One chart bleeds so another one can be green until dinner. Then a third coin shows up and both of them bleed together.
Nobody sat down and chose this. It is just what happens when the only way to win is to take something off the guy standing next to you.
That game is smaller than it looks
Here is the thing nobody says out loud. Fighting over liquidity is fighting over a puddle.
Every hour spent convincing somebody to dump their bag for yours is an hour nobody spent bringing a new person in. The pot does not get bigger. It just gets carved up differently, and the knife costs more every time you pick it up.
pools.fun is early. Genuinely early, not “early” in the way people say it about a coin with a two year old chart. At this stage the ceiling is not which token wins. The ceiling is how many people even know this place exists. Every community here is arguing over slices while the actual problem is that the pie is still small enough to carry with one hand.
Fighting over the puddle is a losing habit dressed up as strategy.
So we stopped playing it
MPMF’s thesis fits in one sentence, and there is no asterisk on the end of it.
We win when everybody else wins.
MPMF is not competing with your favourite pools.fun token. It is the reason you found it. We do not fight for liquidity — we bring the people who add it.
Every new pool that launches makes this thesis truer, not weaker. Somebody else’s launch is not a threat to us. It is a recruitment event we did not have to pay for, run by people who are better at talking about their own thing than we ever would be.
Which leads to the genuinely strange part of holding this coin: you are allowed to be happy about other people’s charts. Encouraged, even. Nobody has to lose for MPMF to win.
Honestly, the name said it before anybody wrote the thesis down. More pools, more fun. Not “our pool”. Not “the best pool”. More of them. The whole argument was sitting in four words the entire time and it took us embarrassingly long to notice we were supposed to mean it literally.
Fine, but does it actually work?
Fair question. Nice-sounding ideas are cheap and crypto is full of them. Here is the actual mechanic, in the order it happens.
More poolsmore peoplemore liquiditymore fun
A new pool launches. It arrives with its own people attached — group chats, friends of friends, that one guy who tells everybody about everything. Those people now have a wallet on Robinhood chain and they are looking around at what else is here.
Some of them find MPMF. Some of them do not, and go buy a third thing instead, which is also fine, because now that third thing has holders too and the whole place is louder than it was on Monday. Deeper water, bigger splash.
None of that is a promise about anybody’s price, including ours. Nobody can promise you that, and you should close the tab when somebody tries. It is a statement about direction: MPMF is built so that the ecosystem growing is the thing that helps us, instead of the thing that threatens us.
The honest version, stated plainly: this is a bet on pools.fun as a whole, wearing a memecoin costume. If pools.fun stays a ghost town, no thesis on earth saves anybody. If it gets busy, MPMF is the coin that was cheering the entire time — and people remember who was cheering when it was quiet.
“But won’t they just take our liquidity?”
This is the objection worth taking seriously, so let’s take it seriously.
Yes — money that goes into a new pool is money that did not go into ours, today. That part is real and pretending otherwise would be insulting. But look at the timeframe hiding inside that sentence. Today.
The person who bought that other pool did not exist here last week. They had to make a wallet, bridge something, figure out how any of this works. That is a permanent addition to the room. They will still be here next month, with a wallet already funded and a much shorter list of reasons to say no to the next thing they see.
The zero-sum read is only true if you freeze the frame on one afternoon. Zoom out by a month and every pool that launched is a pipe pointed at the same place we are all standing. Short term it splits the pot. Medium term it builds the pot. Pick which one you are actually invested in.
“This is just being nice with extra steps”
Sort of. But being nice is not the point — being correct is, and in a market this young they happen to be the same move.
Think about who actually brought you here. It was almost certainly not an ad. It was a person, in a reply, who sounded like they were having a good time. Attention in this corner of the internet moves through people who look like fun to stand next to, and it moves away from people who look exhausting.
So a community whose entire posture is “come in, the water’s warm, also check out this other pool” is not being soft. It is running the only marketing that has ever worked here, and it costs nothing but ego.
What this looks like on a Tuesday
A thesis with no behaviour attached to it is just a screenshot. So here is the behaviour.
- A new pool launches — we go look at it, and we say so out loud.
- Somebody shills their token in our replies — they get a quote tweet, not a ratio.
- Somebody else's chart is green — we say gg and mean it.
- Somebody new shows up confused — we answer the question instead of posting the wojak.
Try it once this week. Find a pools.fun token that is not MPMF, and say something genuinely good about it in public, from the account holding MPMF. Watch what comes back.
“More pools more fun” was never a slogan. It has always been an instruction.
Most coins want a soldier. We would rather run a pool party.
Bring your own floatie. Bring your own coin. It is the same water either way, and it gets better the more people jump in.
Not a rival. A rising tide. 🌊
MPMF is a memecoin. Nothing here is financial advice, a price prediction, or a promise of returns — it is an argument about how a community should behave. Do your own research, and never put in money you cannot afford to watch go to zero.
